Terms of Use
Last updated 18 September 2026
These terms are the agreement (the "EULA") between you and Heaven Factories s.r.o., company ID 24360431, Dlouhá 3403/2b, Moravská Ostrava, 702 00 Ostrava, Czech Republic ("Heaven Factories", "we"), for the Blessie app. By downloading or using Blessie you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What Blessie is
Blessie is a daily companion for reading the Bible and praying. It shows a verse each day, lets you read the whole Bible, save verses and write reflections, and writes a short devotional and a prayer for your day. It is not a church, a counsellor or a doctor. It gives no pastoral, medical, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace your own community, your pastor or the Bible itself.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. If you are below the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
3. Your data and your device
Blessie has no account you sign up for. Everything you save lives on your device and you own what you enter. There is no cloud copy, so if you delete the app or lose the phone, what was on it is gone; we cannot restore it. On iPhone the app shows Apple's tracking prompt once, so it can measure which ad brought you in; you can decline and nothing is tracked. You are responsible for keeping your device secure. How data is handled, including that prompt and our attribution provider, is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. The Bible text
The English text is the World English Bible and the Polish text is the Biblia Gdańska. Both are in the public domain. We make no claim over them and you may quote them freely. Verse numbering follows the standard Protestant canon. Other translations are not included.
5. Talking to Blessie
The daily devotional, the prayer and any verse explanation are written on the spot by a language model. They can be wrong or shallow, and they are not the teaching of any church. Read them as a companion's words, weigh them against Scripture and your own community, and do not treat them as a substitute for pastoral care, counselling or emergency help. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line. These features need a connection and an active trial or Blessie Premium (see section 6). Do not use them to process other people's personal data or for anything unlawful.
6. Blessie Premium subscriptions
Blessie is a subscription, Blessie Premium, that starts with a free trial. There is no free tier: a trial or a paid subscription is needed to use the app. It unlocks the verse of the day with an affirmation; the daily devotional and prayer, with the streak; the whole bible, saved verses and reflections; verse explanations whenever you want them; reminders, and home and lock screen widgets. What it includes may change over time; the app shows what is current.
Price and length
- Weekly: billed per week.
- Yearly: billed per year.
The App Store or Google Play shows the exact current price in your local currency, including any tax, before you confirm the purchase. Prices can change and vary by region; the amount the store shows at the moment of purchase is the one that applies.
Renewal
Blessie Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews at the same price at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase, and again at each renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Free trial
If a plan comes with a free trial, the trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
Cancelling
You can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the current period runs out.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The subscription lives in your store account, so it has to be cancelled there.
Refunds
Apple and Google are the sellers of record and handle all billing, so refunds follow their policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Google Play order history. Where EU consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content, that right applies against the store you bought from.
Price changes
If we change the price of an existing subscription, the store will notify you and ask you to agree before the new price applies. You may cancel instead.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where law expressly permits it.
- Do not resell, rent or sublicense Blessie or your subscription.
- Do not attack, overload or probe our servers, or try to get around the daily message limit.
- Do not use Blessie to harass anyone, to generate hateful content, or for anything unlawful.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Blessie on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the store's own rules.
8. Intellectual property
Blessie, its name, mascot, design, affirmations and code belong to Heaven Factories. The licence above gives you the right to use the app and transfers no ownership. Your own reflections and messages stay yours and we claim no rights over them. Devotionals and prayers written for you are yours to keep and share.
9. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features. If we retire the AI features (the devotional, the prayer or verse explanations), we will give reasonable notice in the app. Reading, saving, reflecting and the streak work on the device regardless.
10. Termination
You can stop using Blessie at any time by deleting the app, which removes everything it kept on the phone. We may suspend access to the AI features if you materially breach these terms, in which case any unused paid period is refundable through the store.
11. Disclaimer
Blessie is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that anything Blessie writes is accurate, complete or suitable for any decision. Nothing here limits the statutory rights consumers have under mandatory local law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Heaven Factories is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for data loss, including data you lose because you deleted the app or lost the phone. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the amount you paid us for Blessie in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud or gross negligence.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. Terms that apply if you got Blessie from the App Store
Apple requires these provisions. They apply in addition to everything above.
- This EULA is between you and Heaven Factories only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Blessie or its content.
- Your licence to use Blessie is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Blessie. Support requests go to [email protected].
- If Blessie fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Blessie.
- Heaven Factories, not Apple, is responsible for any claim that Blessie or your use of it fails to meet a legal requirement, arises under product liability or consumer protection law, or infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.
15. General
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Heaven Factories for Blessie, and replace anything said before.
- If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up.
- You may not transfer these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them to a company that takes over Blessie, without reducing your rights.
- We give notices in the app or by email; you reach us at [email protected].
